Children's Orthopaedic is a group of paediatric orthopaedic surgeons who work closely together to manage a wide range of orthopaedic problems.
Conditions treated include:
- Gait problems related to toe walking, neurological disorders, limb alignment issues
- Hip problems including developmental dysplasia (DDH), Perthes' disease, hip problems related to neurodisability, slipped upper femoral epiphyses (SUFE/SCFE)
- Knee problems
- Fractures and sports injuries (including knee cartilage and ligament injuries)
- Foot problems including Clubfoot (CTEV)
- Musculoskeletal problems in neurodisability
- Congenital and acquired limb deformities that require limb lengthening or reconstruction techniques
